The final morning of the trip was dull and wet and forecast to stay that way. I went to Oberwesel on the Linke Rheinstrecke for a couple of hours before starting the long trek home via Luxembourg, southern Belgium, Lille and the Channel Tunnel.

The 103 hauled southbound passenger was seen again, this time north of Mainz just before 10:00, making me wonder if it’s a regular working.
