After a few days in the Allgäu it was time to return to the Stuttgart - Singen line for another attempt at photographing the weekend 115 and 181 turns. The forecast was poor so I hadn’t expected to get anything worthwhile today. By lunchtime the day was living up to expectations with nothing photographed in good light despite there having been some good sunny breaks.

Everything changed around 13:00 and from then on, virtually everything passed in full sun including two trains booked for the 181 (181.214) and one booked for the 115 (actually 110.491 but I didn’t complain). It hadn’t got any sunnier, the clouds had just been retimed to miss the trains.
