A second day on the Stuttgart - Singen line. Today’s highlight was the booked class 181 working from Stuttgart to Singen and back on IC181 (appropriately enough) and IC280. Most of the other IC services were worked by class 101s although there were a couple of class 120s as well. REs were the usual mixture of 146.2s on Singen trains and 425 units on Rottweil trains. Every train seen was worked by the booked class. There were a couple of freights as well, both 185 hauled.

There was some watery sun during the morning but by lunchtime the cloud was thick and unbroken. I started off at Grünholz again then headed north to Eutingen as the sky seemed clearer in that direction. After the light finally died, I used my free KONUS Gästekarte to travel down to Rottweil and back by EMU in search of new photspots.
