The forecast was for heavy cloud and snow all day but, for once, it was actually a bit better in reality. There was some clearish sky to the north so that’s where I headed, spending most of the morning near Klosters Dorf and getting one shot in half sun before the light caved in completely. Next stop was Chur for a quick look at the street running on the Arosa line and then it was time to give up and go back to Filisur. Locomotive highlights were 605 and 610 on the Klosters Dorf – Davos Platz Sportzüge, 606 on freight 5232 at Untervaz-Trimmis, 701 on freight 5140 at Chur and 608 on freight 5152 at Surava. The low point was realizing the sun might be out for RE1229 at Klosters and then seeing the hideous 611 coming up the hill.
641, 648, 642, 650, 647 on Chur - St. Mo passenger duties 101 - 105 respectively
652 covered Ge4/4ii turn 303 on Chur - St. Mo passengers so it was solid Werbeloks over the Albula.
Landquart - Davos - Filisur turns were a bit of a mess as one set had no driving trailer. This set laid over at Davos for an hour and then returned to Landquart. The set that should have returned to Landquart then did a second trip to Filisur and back. Locos were as previously indicated (617, 630, 644, 649 and 651). 649 was on the set without a driving trailer and hauled in both directions.
643, 645 and 646 were on the Vereina tunnel car shuttles.
622, 611, 613, 633, 621, 612, 628, 615, 616, 627, 620, 631, 632, 614 on duties 301 - 314 respectively, mainly Disentis - Scuol-Tarasp passengers. Duties 303, 306 and 314 had no work.
626, 625, 629, 623 on Arosa duties 61 - 64 respectively. Duty 64 was the only push-pull set, the rest were hauled in both directions.
618, 624 on Pontresina - Scuol-Tarasp duties 31 - 32 respectively.
New unit 3502 continued to work freights 5922, 5929, 5336, 5151 vice Ge6/6ii duty 203. 3501 had an outing from Samedan to Alp Grüm and back.
619 remained under repair.
