This time the forecast was for 50-80% sun in the Oberengadin and over the Bernina. It was gloriously sunny at Celerina to start with and I got my first good shots of the trip, however, the sky clouded over unexpectedly just before 11:00. There was still some blue in the south so I headed up the Bernina in an unsuccessful search for good light, before returning to Pontresina and then Filisur. Locomotive highlights were 607 waiting to leave Samedan with the stock for the Bergün – Preda Schlittelzüge, 606 on S-chanf – St. Moritz locals, 609 on RE1125, 604 on Pontresina – Scuol-Tarasp workings, 705 on freight 5140 at Samedan and 802 with rotary snowplough at Alp Grüm.
