Just like Tuesday, today promised plenty of freights on the Nürnberg - Hof line but most of them failed to appear, the same ones that failed to appear two days earlier. That left just the two reliable daytime workings, the morning train from Zwickau and the afternoon train from Cheb, both of which ran as expected and produced very satisfactory pictures. The weather was perfect from dawn to dusk and the rest of the day was spent waiting for freights that didn’t show and photographing DMUs just to fight off the boredom.
