The final day of the trip dawned grey and overcast in Modra. There was brightness in the east so I headed for the Luhacovice line. By the time I got there the edge of the cloud was a lot further east and disappearing into the distance rapidly. With no chance of the sun there, I headed north then west in hope of finding some light on the way back to Praha.

Around Pardubice it brightened up and the afternoon was spent in hazy sunshine at Pardubice-Opocinek on the Praha - Ceska Trebova main line. Passenger traffic was heavy, with locos of several different classes seen, and there were a good number of freights as well.

Train Os5022 was running late so the 471 that had just arrived at Pardubice from Praha turned round quickly and worked from Pardubice - Prelouc in the path of the delayed train. Eventually 163.026 appeared, running approximately in the path of Os8616 to Praha, which should have had the 471. The two must have swapped round again at Prelouc because 163.026 returned east on Os5027 as booked.

Also saw my first 380 today but it took me by surprise and I failed to phot it.
