My first full day around Mühldorf. The Burghausen branch was closed until 15:00 for engineering work so I went looking for spots on the Mühldorf - München line and ended up just east of Dorfen Bahnhof, or should it be Dorfen Bahnhof Bahnhof? Everything appeared as expected except for the ÖBB train, which was 2 hours late.

Next stop was Salling, north of Tittmoning-Wiesmühl on the Mühldorf - Freilassing line, for the afternoon binliner. This line sees little freight so it was a surprise to find a train of oil tanks heading south as I drove up to the spot. The bins turned up at the expected time but with a pair of 294s in place of the expected 225.

The rest of the afternoon was spent near Kastl for the procession of westbound trains in the late afternoon.

Once again, the weather was generally favourable.
