Typical JS
JS 5031 was fairly typical of most JS Class 2-8-2s in main line service during the late 1980s and early 1990s, with full size smoke deflectors and a skyline casing around the chimney. The loco was photographed climbing away from Daoqing on the Tonghua - Hunjiang line on 27 January 1991.
