Fire Cleaning
99.7232 had its fire cleaned after arriving at Gernrode at the end of a hard day on 18 February 2017.The photo was taken at Gernrode shed on the Saturday evening after the loco had returned from a trip to Brocken and back. The round trip of around 200km involved some significant climbs and must have made the loco cough a bit as it dragged 8 fully loaded coaches up banks as steep as 25‰.
