Afternoon Light
Five minutes after the Nordhausen train had left Drei Annen Hohne in brilliant light, 99.7235 repeated the performance with train 8937, the 14:55 from Wernigerode to Brocken.The loco is seen here negotiating the forest of signs at the south end of DAH as it left at 16:02 on 18 February 2017, 16 minutes later than scheduled. It had been a busy day for the railway with two specials as well as the timetabled trains and timekeeping suffered.
