A Lucky Break
After a cold dreary day when the sun regularly promised to break through but never quite managed it, we'd given up hope of getting anything in good light. Then the sun appeared from nowhere in the late afternoon, just in time to illuminate the departure of the Nordhausen train from Drei Annen Hohne. We were doubly lucky as 99.7245 had been facing the other way the previous day. The train was 8929, the 14:51 from Brocken, and the date 18 February 2017.
