47.186 headed west from Pirbright Junction with a rake of ARC hoppers on the afternoon of 23 June 1988. The train was almost certainly returning empty from Woking to Whatley Quarry via Salisbury. Woking still receives stone from Whatley today although the trains are usually relegated to the slow lines.
