Soldiering On
The veteran Ge4/4Is continued to work around half of the hourly Pontresina - Scuol-Tarasp services, hardly light work for locos that are over 50 years old. The last of the class, 610, approached Ardez with train 1936, the 11:02 from Pontresina, on 14 October 2009. Due to tunnel work east of Ardez, all services were terminating there with bus connections to Scuol.
