DB's iconic class 103 electrics disappeared from the Rhein Valley (and everywhere else) in 2002 but made a surprising and very welcome comeback in 2013, working IC118 and IC119 several times a week.103.235 passed the mediaeval towers of Bacharach with IC119 on 16 August 2013.
