Fushun used electric locos for all the heavy work and retained a small fleet of steam locos to work construction and maintenance trains. As well as a handful of KD6, there were supposed to be a couple of DK5 class 2-10-0s in service but they were nowhere to be seen on our 31 December 1984 visit. However, we did find an immaculate SY 0628 at the main servicing point, not as exotic as a DK5 but nice to see anyway.
