Following the loss of the West Coast franchise by Virgin Trains at the end of 2019, the Pendolino sets lost their red bits and ran in unbranded plain white for a while. 390127 rounded the big curve at Greenholme with 1S76, the 14:10 from Euston to Glasgow, on 8 August 2020.
