Freightliner Fifty Seven
For a few years Freightliner's Class 57 diesels dominated container trains through the Thames Valley but they would soon be ousted by new Class 66s.The 57s were still in their prime when 57.004 worked southbound 4O27, the 13:05 Crewe - Southampton container train, through Goring on 22 July 2000.
