The New Order
The latest passenger electrics to be seen at Beijing are class HXD3C, based on the HXD3B freight locos jointly developed by Dalian Loco and Bombardier. They appear limited to 120km/h which is probably sensible as much of the coaching stock is also limited to that speed.HXD3C 0643 departed with a very long train K43, the 10:55 to Lanzhou via Baotou, formed of 120km/h stock.
