Baotou Reserve
JF 518 and QJ 6834 were among the locos preserved at Baotou West Depot, once the steam shed but by 2008 the area's main diesel depot. They shared a compound with a strategic reserve of 23 steam locos, mainly JS Class 2-8-2s, one of which, JS 8279, can be seen on the right.
