Political Engine
Even the most humble locomotives sometimes carried decorations in China. This is GJ 1018, an industrial 0-6-0T based at Sujiatun Works, south of Shenyang, and photographed on 1 December 1997. The slogan is political and reads "Revitalise China and built the four modernisations" which were Agriculture, Industry, Defence, Science and Technology, which makes five but never mind.
