
Zhu De Hao
Decorated SY 1395 “Zhu De Hao” simmered in the sun at Taiping on 15 November 2011. Taiping was the base for the steam locomotives that worked in the opencast mine but after the opencast operation finished there were few remaining duties and SY 1395 had little to doThe loco was named after Marshal Zhu De, the founder of the People's Liberation Army. Other locomotives named in his honour included JF 1191, now in the Beijing museum, and QJ 2470.
