As Darkness Falls
There was still a little light in the western sky as 110.435 prepared to propel RE4392 away from Gemünden towards Kassel on the evening of 25 October 2006. The 110 design dates from the mid 1950s but a significant number were still in traffic 50 years later, working regional trains over a wide area of Germany. The Class 650 unit on the right belonged to the Erfurter Industriebahn (EIB), operator of the Gemünden - Schweinfurt line.
