Turn On The Smoke
The crew on 611 turned up the wick as the loco climbed Mulangwane Gorge with train 318 from Colleen Bawn to Mpopoma on the morning of 27 June 1987. Zimbabwean crews were generally friendly and would often oblige with some smoke when they saw photographers.
