Reverse Formation
For many years the policy had been to run HSTs with the First class accommodation at the London end but sometimes the sets ended up the wrong way round, confusing many passengers. 43.189 and 43.124 worked past Southcote Junction, in reverse formation, with 1C79, the 11:06 Paddington - Penzance, on 19 April 2017.
