The first of the Heavy Haul Class 66s, 66.601, headed east into Sonning Cutting with 6M91, the 11:13 empty cement tanks from Theale to Earles Sidings, on 16 May 2016. A pair of 3-car Class 165s passed in the opposite direction on 2R29, the 10:42 from Paddington to Reading.
