Here We Go Again
By 2018 the 458s were back on the Waterloo - Reading line for the third time in their careers. After their rebuilding and lengthening to 5 cars, the units had been deployed on services to Windsor and Weybridge but, after platform lengthening to take 10 coach trains, they transferred to Reading services.458.520 and 458.526 left Wokingham on 2C70, the 20:42 from Reading to Waterloo, passing another 10 car formation on 2C63, the 19:50 Waterloo - Reading.
