Uncertainty
59205 passed Heytesbury with 7V12, the 15:38 Woking to Merehead stone empties, on 18 September 2019. The Freightliner takeover was only two months away and there was considerable uncertainty over the fate of the class 59s, particularly the class 59/2s owned by DB. Over three years later the 59/2s can still be found hard at work on the Mendip stone trains and 59205 still carries its red livery despite being owned by Freightliner.
