Shere Delight
There's not usually much of interest in the south on Saturdays so the prospect of two top'n'tail trains over the North Downs line on 20 May 2023 was too good to miss. The clouds got the first working but the second, 1Q69 worked by 73962 and 73964 passed in good light. The 12:22 South Croydon to Derby R.T.C. test train was photographed passing Shere Common, west of Gomshall.
