Dragging Duty
69.008 wasn't long out of Eastleigh's paintshop when it towed 701016 to Wimbledon Depot on 26 July 2023, running as 5Q47, the 09:24 from Marchwood, photographed passing Frimley Green, east of Farnborough. 69008 was the first of the class to be fitted with retractable Dellner couplers for dragging units.
