Short 701
GBRf's Class 47s have been a fairly common sight on the South Western main line in recent months, usually ferrying empty Class 701 EMUs around. 47727 passed Potbridge with 5Q12, an 11:25 Wembley ICD to Eastleigh T&RSMD unit drag, on 14 June 2023, passing 450047 going the other way on 2L46. Most of the 701s delivered so far have been the 10-car variant but this was 5-car 701510.
