Devastation
Chinley station had been reduced to rubble a few years earlier, with the previous 4-track main line and 2 loops reduced to plain double track and all the buildings demolished. 20141 and 20143 passed through the devastation with a train of limestone from the Buxton area quarries to Northwich on 13 February 1985.
