ICI Empties
The long standing limestone traffic from the Buxton area quarries to ICI at Northwich was in the capable hands of pairs of Class 20s during my February 1985 visit. 20170 and 20185 powered up the bank towards Chinley North Junction with a train of empties on 13 February 1985.
