A Vanishing Breed
Much of the freight traffic on the Stuttgart - Ulm line consists of intermodal trains but the bulk appeared to be worked by independent operators.DB's 185.161 headed west with one of DB's few intermodal workings on 9 May 2017 and was photographed dropping down the bank from Beimerstetten to Westerstetten.
