Afterglow
99.5906 shuffled up the bank between Bad Suderode and Gernrode shortly after sunset on 10 October 2015. As the sun dropped behind the hills we switched sides with the aim of trying a silhouette but ended up with an unexpected glint instead, courtesy of the very shiny paintwork.The Mallet was on its way to Harzgerode with train 8957, the 17:53 from Quedlinburg.
