Generations Apart
Members of the two classes that did most to keep the Harzquerbahn moving for a century were disposed at Gernrode shed on the evening of 9 October 2015. 99.5906, on the right, the youngest of the 0-4-4-0T Mallets, was dwarfed by 99.7243, one of the 1950s built 2-10-2Ts.
