Reichsbahn Visitor
Until German re-unification Lübeck was a border station visited regularly by East German diesels. DR's 132 372 arrived at Lübeck Hbf with D438, the 09:14 from Rostock Hbf to Köln Hbf, on 18 February 1984. 218 427, which will take the train on to Hamburg can be seen doing steam loco impressions in the distance.Almost 40 years later the 132 still exists, preserved by Mecklenburgische Eisenbahnfreunde Schwerin.
