Westerland was full of interest at lunchtime on 28 September 2015. 218.342 and 218.380 left for Niebüll with AS-K1433, the 13:10 SyltShuttle, while sister engines 218.369 and 218.341 ran round the stock for IC2315 in the carriage sidings. Also in the sidings on the right were NOB's 223.055 and an unidentified class 251, both having a rest with their coaches before the evening peak. On the left several articulated double-deck car-carrier sets, used to strengthen weekend trains, waited for the next call to action.
