An unidentified class 261 crossed the Hochbrücke Hochdonn with a trip freight from the oil refinery at Hemmingstedt on 24 July 2014. Down below the Hull built, Dutch registered, Eems Delta was heading towards Hamburg and then Teesport while the larger Anne Dorte made for Rendsburg, at the east end of the canal.
