Last Generation
472.013 was one of a batch of similar units built in the mid-1970s for the Hamburg S-Bahn. They now play second fiddle to the more stylish and much newer class 474s but were still very much in evidence in 2015. The unit approached Hamburg Hbf with S21 service 48327, the 13:36 from Elbgaustrasse to Bergedorf, on 1 October 2015.
