233.285 coasted through the valley of the Obere Argen near Weissenbachmühle, north of Oberstaufen, with diverted westbound Hallein - Bludenz freight EZ45194 on 1 October 2014. The parallel Arlbergbahn in Austria was closed for engineering work and freights were being diverted via München and Lindau with diesel haulage over the Allgäubahn.
