Classes 185, 186 and 187 are the German classifications for Bombardier TRAXX electric locos, most of which are equipped to operate off German 15kV AC and French 25kV AC. Locos used by DB Cargo and other freight operators regularly work in France and SNCF's subsidiary Akiem has some on its books.
Class 185 and 186 differ mainly in that the 185 is equipped to operate from 15kV and 25kV AC systems, while the 186 can also work on 1500V and 3000V DC as well. The Class 187 is a newer, more modular version of the TRAXX, which can be configured to work from any one or more of the four electrical systems and can be fitted with a "last mile" diesel engine as well.
