On The Broad Gauge
No.54 led its train of empties over the summit north of Pinglin on 5 March 2003. If the trackbed looks very generous for a 760 mm gauge railway, it's because the line was built on the route of a former 5' gauge branch off the Chinese Eastern Railway main line.
