Constant Change
China is constantly changing and photographic locations regularly get ruined by new building and particularly new lines of the ubiquitous concrete poles that are as much a feature of the Chinese landscape as paddyfields and discarded plastic bags. It was a pleasure, therefore, to report that a new location had been opened up on the climb to Zhongxin. SY 1018 and SY 0746 made an unspectacular climb past the new spot with a relatively short train on 29 November 2006.
