Servicing Time
The depot was a hive of activity around 08:00 when most locos returned for a crew change and servicing. A commendably clean JS 8338 caught the sun as it kept company with classmate JS 8065 on 6 January 2005. Although Pingdingshan had a mixed fleet of QJ, JS and SY classes, the vast majority of locos were JS class 2-8-2s, most built in 1987 or 1988.
