Approaching the Summit
The Miyun - Chengde line climbs to a summit in the mountains east of Qianweitang before dropping to the town of Xinglongxian. Train 11, the morning Beijing - Chengde "Tourist Train", curved around the horseshoe west of the summit behind DF4 0606 on 18 January 1994.
