DF4 2274 was photographed a short distance to the north of the previous location on the Longhua line, working train 2190 from Wulanhaote to Beijing towards the capital on 19 October 2008. The vehicle immediately behind the loco is a generator van, used to provide power for train heating or air conditioning.
