It was a surprise to find that Thameslink services to Cambridge and Peterborough were running from the main station at Kings Cross on 1 March 2026, instead of going through the tunnel. 700128 prepared to leave with 1C56, the 20:40 to Cambridge, while 91127, on the right, still had almost an hour to wait before setting off with 1N16, the 21:33 to York.
