All Change
When I first visited Marylebone in the mid-1970s the entire service was worked by Class 115 4-car DMUs and nothing went beyond Banbury. It's a bit different today with inner and outer suburban services interspersed with frequent trains to Birmingham, some of which are loco hauled.68008 was in position to work the first of three loco-hauled rush hour departures on 10 December 2026, 1J49, the 17:07 to Stourbridge Junction. This would be followed by loco-hauled workings to Princes Risborough, half an hour later, and another to Stourbridge Junction, half an hour after that.
