Mountsorrel Manoeuvres
66789 passed Cossington with 6M23, the 13:07 Doncaster Up Decoy to Mountsorrel Sidings ballast empties, on 22 May 2026. The train had passed Mountsorrel a couple of minutes earlier but had to continue to Humberstone Road to run round as there's no access to the sidings from the north. It is possible to exit the sidings in a northerly direction but the loco and train were due to go to Eastleigh after loading and would use the southern connection instead.
